Very touching article, Emilia! Such experiences are also touches of God’s Goodness and Provident Care because they bring out the good in us as we reach out to the other, especially the other in need of our understanding and attention. Thank you!

Thanks, Emilia! Of course I can relate to the Beatles and the messages of their songs. But this one was a good reminder. I too had the experience of being non-weight bearing due to a break and realized what I took for granted. It was hard to be so dependent. It was hard to see all the flurry of activity around you and be unable to keep up!
Good experience to recall and remember when interacting with others who can use that little extra thoughtfulness you suggested.

Emilia, your experience shows us our need to be sensitive to others, even if they do not have an apparent disability. Everyone wants to be respected and to keep their dignity as a person, no matter what. Thank you so much for sharing your experience so honestly.
